Mounts
WoW Forever mounts: level and cost
Short version. You still ride at level 40 and go swift at 60. What changed is the price: 20 gold for your first mount and 200 gold for the swift one.
In Classic Era the same mounts cost 80 and 1,000 gold. That's a quarter and a fifth of the old price.

Vendor prices before reputation discounts. 32 level 40 mounts and 38 swift mounts carry the same name in Classic Era (build 1.15.9.70003), which is how the old price is checked. Riding training costs extra, and that price isn't in the client.
Every race's mounts
Each race sells its own kind. Mounts marked new aren't in Classic at all.

Riding skill
Two ranks, as in Classic. Apprentice Riding lets you ride mounts that need riding skill 75. Journeyman Riding unlocks swift mounts at skill 150. The Skyborne get their ownGalestrider Riding line in the client, the way every other race has one for its mount.
Questions people ask
What level can you get a mount in WoW Forever?
Level 40 for a normal mount and level 60 for a swift one, the same as Classic. Every regular mount item in the beta client asks for level 40 or 60.
How much does a mount cost in WoW Forever?
20 gold for a level 40 mount and 200 gold for a swift level 60 mount, at the vendor before any reputation discount. In Classic Era the same mounts cost 80 and 1,000 gold.
Does riding training cost gold too?
Probably, but the price isn't in the client. Trainer prices live on Blizzard's servers, so nobody can read them from the files.
What mount do the Skyborne get?
The Galestrider. The client has its own Galestrider Riding skill and eight Galestrider mounts: four at level 40, four swift ones at 60.
